I hosted an Esperanto day as part of Bed-In at the Bluecoat, a recreation of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 Bed-In for Peace in 1969. Liverpool has been a centre of Esperanto since the 1930s workers education movement. I invited local esperanto speakers and together we engaged visitors in wide-ranging discussions about Esperanto, its culture, internationalism and increasing use in social media.The event was livestreamed.
